Who Are Maddison Pearman Parents?
Maddison Pearman is born to Canadian parents; Shawna and Myron Pearman.
Her whole family has skated in fact, her father is a speed skating official, who has just started his new career.
Myron has also volunteered at the club level for many years and is a regular at the Calgary Olympic Oval.
In 2021, the Pearman family was recognized for their contribution to speeding skating in Canada.
They were honored with the prestigious Gagné Family Award. It is provided by the Canadian speed skating community.
Her mother Shawna has played softball and represented Canada for six years. She has won gold at the 1983 Pan American Games.
Pearman’s mother says: “Speed skating has been a central part of our family’s life for 21 years as athletes, coaches and officials.”
“Throughout this time, we have been blessed with lifelong memories and friendships. Speed skating is truly one big family that we are all grateful to be part of.”
Her mom also served as a meet coordinator for many events hosted in Red Deer. She has now transitioned to coaching and volunteering.

Maddison Pearman has two sisters who are professional athletes as well. Tess and Brooke Pearman are her two siblings.
Tess has been playing volleyball for quite some time. She currently plays for MacEwan University’s Griffins.
Brooke, her other sister, is also into speed skating. She previously competed in the Canadian Junior Championships in 2010.
Maddison’s athletic family currently resides in Ponoka.

Maddison Pearman’s present age is 26 years old. She was born in the year 1996 and her birthday is on January 23.
