Miss Global Czech Republic 2019 Karolina Kokesová was named Miss Global 2019. In Prague, she received her bachelor’s degree in tourism destination management at Vysoká kola Hotelová Praha.
Karolina has been a strong contender for the title from the start, as she is no stranger to pageants. Karolina was the third runner-up in the Miss Czech Republic 2018 competition. Her commitment and experience helped her win the title and represent her country globally.
Karolina said after earning the title of Miss Global 2019, “After everything that had transpired, I didn’t expect it to be announced at all, much less even placed. I still can’t believe it, but I have a crown, so it’s true.”
She wore a national costume designed by fashion designer David Hanykr, inspired by the Czech Republic’s glass industry and Czech environment. Kokeová also wore a white glitter gown from the Poner design duo’s atelier to the final gala evening.
