The Trumps, Xi and Madame Peng are also scheduled to tour the National Archives, where they will view historic records, including the original Declaration of Independence and Constitution.
Behind the diplomatic formalities, Xi is reportedly expected to raise concerns about Taiwan and a $14 billion U.S. military package approved for the island but not yet delivered. China claims sovereignty over Taiwan.
