First Lady Melania Trump welcomed a diverse group of international first ladies to the US State Department for the Fostering the Future Together Global Summit. This gathering builds upon a vision she initially introduced at the 80th United Nations General Assembly.
Among the distinguished guests were Olena Zelenska, the spouse of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Sarah Netanyahu, married to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Their presence underscored the event’s global significance.
The summit also saw the participation of the First Ladies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Romania, and Burundi. Some of these influential women commenced the event with brief speeches, focusing on the future of artificial intelligence and its potential applications within their respective nations.
Olena Zelenska remarked, “Today, the world faces growing instability, prompting every nation to seek answers. It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that, in addition to our people’s resilience, digital systems play a crucial role in keeping Ukraine operational, even amidst conflict.”
First Lady Trump referred to the assembly as a gathering of “extraordinary human capital,” bringing together leaders from prominent technology platforms, AI innovators, and digital creators.
Among the tech giants present were OpenAI, Microsoft, xAI, Meta, Palantir, Adobe, Google, and Zoom Communications, highlighting the event’s focus on technological collaboration.
The two–day summit gathered international leaders and technology innovators to focus on a unified mission: ‘To empower our next generation’s advancement in technology and education.’
Greeting representatives from dozens of nations across the globe, from Albania and Bolivia to Ukraine and the UAE, Melania Trump emphasized the collective power of the international community.
She highlighted that as people dream and leaders progress, they ultimately move forward together as nations.

Urging the assembled leaders to take immediate action, she stated, ‘Let’s accelerate our new global alliance, this bond to positively impact the progress of our children.’
A central theme of her address was the critical role of corporate partnership in driving educational advancement.
She noted that ‘Magic happens in our nation’s capital, particularly when the private and public sectors joint forces.’
‘Never before have so many tech visionaries stood before such a large global audience of leaders in the State Department and the White House over the two–day period,’ she remarked.
Calling the meeting ‘unprecedented,’ she commended America’s leading companies for their participation.
First Lady Trump issued a clear directive to the global leaders in attendance: ‘Leaders harness it to elevate your children, to empower your people and to accelerate your economies.’
She stressed that the global coalition will only improve the future ‘by supporting concrete initiatives that equip young people with the skills and knowledge they need.’
Closing her remarks and wishing the attendees success , she asked the audience to collaborate, saying, ‘Together, let’s invest expand success and create opportunities for education and technology.’
