Chloe Fineman, a star from Saturday Night Live, recently shared a series of photos highlighting her experiences with ‘botched’ cosmetic treatments.

The 37-year-old comedian gave her audience a peek into the aftermath of various procedures, which left her face bruised and swollen, ranging from laser treatments to facials using salmon sperm.

In a voiceover accompanying the photos, Fineman commented, “Every year, countless women claim they’re off on a vacation or visiting relatives in Connecticut.”

“In reality,” she added, “they’re indulging in intense med spa sessions, involving bizarre treatments like laser work or salmon sperm Sculptra plaster, or whatever else they can find.”

Fineman went on to describe how these women retreat into solitude, akin to hibernating bears, while snapping numerous selfies to share with friends and family, who in turn assure them, ‘It’s not that bad.’

She concluded with a resolve: “This year, I promise to break the cycle.”

Ending the clip, Fineman then added: ‘Just kidding, I’m going Friday.’

Captioning the upload, she asked: ‘Can we normalize having a “Botched” iPhone photo album?’

Fineman’s candid post left many of her celebrity pals amused, with Lindsay Lohan, Lisa Rinna and Spencer Pratt all responding with crying laughing emojis.

Others, however, voiced their upset as they implored others to reconsider seeking cosmetic work.

‘Though this post and you are hilarious, I really wish people would ditch some of these procedures,’ one commented.

‘This stuff doesn’t necessarily make folks look better. Sure, they have less lines and brown spots, but they also look puffy and unnatural.’

Another wrote: ‘That’s really disturbing. Ladies, please don’t do stupid things to yourself. Stay out of the sun, wash with a mild soap, avoid makeup, and you’ll be fine.’

‘Can we normalize not doing this stuff, especially since it looks like it sucks,’ added a third.

Fineman has been open and honest about experimenting with procedures in the past.

In 2022, she told Popsugar about trying Fraxel, a popular fractional laser skin resurfacing treatment.

Speaking in the voiceover, Fineman said: 'Every year, hundreds of women will say they're going on a trip or visiting family in Connecticut. But really, they'll be going ham at a med spa'

‘I didn’t know you’re not supposed to rub off [the numbing cream applied beforehand], so I had a red scar across my forehead,’ she said.

In April 2024, Fineman opened up about her beauty routine during an appearance on Into The Gloss.

It was during this conversation in which she revealed that med spas play a huge part in her life.

‘I’m in my 30s, which means I’m at peak med spa mistake age,’ she said at the time.

‘It all turned dark during COVID. When they lifted enough restrictions in LA, I was like “This is the time to get Botox, because no one will see me for probably six months.”

‘But then I couldn’t lift my forehead until right when we came back to work – and for comedy and acting, you want to be able to move your face.’
