When it comes to capturing the elegance of equestrian style, the royal-approved brand Fairfax & Favor is undoubtedly leading the charge this season. Known for their masterfully crafted country boots, the brand has expanded its offerings to include ready-to-wear clothing, handbags, and accessories, each exuding a quintessential British charm.
Fairfax & Favor’s reputation soared as it became synonymous with quality and style, attracting the likes of Zara Tindall as a brand ambassador. The label has also found great success in its collaborations, notably with influencer Lydia Millen. Such partnerships have helped the brand reach new heights and audiences.
This season, the brand has unveiled its second collection in collaboration with Lydia Millen, further showcasing its flair for design. In addition to the collaboration, Fairfax & Favor has introduced new shades to its iconic Windsor handbag line, aligning perfectly with current fashion trends and seasonal palettes.
The Windsor handbag, which began as a single design in 2015, has since evolved into a hallmark collection, solidifying its place as a signature piece of the brand. Each iteration of the Windsor collection continues to embody the brand’s dedication to timeless elegance and functionality, securing its place as one of Fairfax & Favor’s most recognizable and beloved designs.
The brand has recently launched its second collection with Lydia, alongside an expansion of its signature Windsor handbag line, introducing new versatile colourways that feel perfectly in step with the season.
Originally designed as a single handbag in 2015, the Windsor has since evolved into a full collection of hero styles, cementing its status as one of the brand’s most recognisable designs.
I had the opportunity to get a first-hand look at some of my favourites, including the Crossbody Basket Bag and Mini Handbag.
Naturally styled with pieces from the brand’s wider collection, read on for my full thoughts.

The Windsor Basket Bag is the standout accessory of the season, says Senior Features Writer Rebekah Absalom
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Windsor Basket Bag, and it has exceeded my expectations.
Even more beautiful in person, it’s the standout accessory I’ll be reaching for all season long.
The compact silhouette is perfectly proportioned for carrying the essentials, while the rich chocolate-brown trims add a striking contrast that instantly catches the eye.
I particularly love the tassel detailing, which echoes the signature finish seen on Fairfax & Favor’s coveted Regina boots.
Thanks to its detachable shoulder strap and beautifully woven design, this is a bag that transitions effortlessly from day to evening.
Whether styled for a summer wedding, Royal Ascot, or a garden party, it adds an elegant finishing touch to any outfit.
For this look, I paired it with the equally stunning Jessie Suede Top, layered over a floral dress and finished with the Monaco Wedges.
The top is exceptionally flattering, gently defining the waist with its detachable belt while the longline silhouette creates a beautifully streamlined shape that works just as well worn alone as it does layered.
The suede wedges complete the look perfectly. Not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they also have a timeless, countryside-meets-royal aesthetic.
It’s easy to see why similar styles have become favourites of both Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

Rebekah wears teams the Mini Windsor Bag with the Olivia Waxed Jacket, famously worn by Zara Tindall
It’s easy to see why the Mini Windsor Bag has become one of Fairfax & Favor’s most-loved designs.
I opted for the classic tan colourway, accented with darker brown trims. The size strikes the perfect balance – compact enough to feel elegant, yet spacious enough for everyday essentials.
I also love the versatility of carrying it by the top handle or wearing it crossbody with the detachable strap.
I styled it with the Olivia Waxed Jacket, famously worn by Zara Tindall, alongside the brand’s new metallic sandals.
The jacket is a true investment piece that works beautifully throughout the warmer months and transitions seamlessly into autumn.
The gold-tone hardware elevates the design, giving it a premium feel. It does have a relaxed fit, so I’d recommend sizing down for a more tailored look.
As for the St Ives Sandals, they’ve been one of my favourite discoveries from the collection.
As someone who typically gravitates towards silver, I was pleasantly surprised by the sophisticated champagne-gold finish.
The shade feels soft and understated rather than overtly gold, while the signature shield logo adds a subtle touch of luxury.
Chic, comfortable and endlessly versatile, I can see myself wearing these on repeat throughout the season ahead.
Shop more favourites from the Windsor range
Originally launched in 2015, the Windsor has become one of Fairfax & Favor’s most recognisable pieces, evolving from the original handbag into a full collection that now includes the Mini Windsor, Windsor Work Bag and Basket Bag.
Across all styles, the range has generated £17.6 million in sales, with more than 63,000 bags sold to date.
What feels particularly relevant right now is the renewed shift towards timeless accessories and investment pieces over trend-led fashion.
The Windsor sits comfortably within that conversation, combining craftsmanship, practicality and a recognisable design identity that customers return to year after year.
Each bag is handcrafted in Europe using sustainably sourced suede and leather, and finished with the brand’s signature interchangeable tassel detail, inspired by its coveted Regina boots.
It’s a style that feels equally at home in everyday settings as it does for occasion dressing, which is why it has continued to resonate so strongly over time.
