EA Sports FC 24 has officially launched worldwide today, with many passionate fans eager to get their hands on the game.
After 30 years, FIFA underwent a rebrand to EAFC ahead of the new season after EA chose not to renew its license with the governing body.
Ahead of the release, EAFC teased a few player ratings, including Arsenal. Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard received huge boosts as fans were left fuming with William Saliba’s rating.
Marcus Rashford’s rating left Man United fans angered after he was awarded only 85 despite scoring 30 goals last season.

Why will the new FIFA game be called EA Sport FC 24?
As alluded to, FIFA underwent a rebrand to EAFC after EA chose not to renew its license with the governing body.
Despite not being called FIFA anymore, EA Sports has deals with 300 clubs and league across the world.
Speaking on the change, a spokesperson for the company said: ‘Everything you love about our games will be part of EA SPORTS FC — the same great experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes will be there.
‘Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs and VOLTA Football will all be there. Our unique licensing portfolio of more than 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues that we’ve continued to invest in for decades will still be there, uniquely in EA SPORTS FC.
‘That includes exclusive partnerships with the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, MLS — and more to come.’
Ahead of the release, EA removed it’s previous FIFA games from sale on Steam, Epic and other digital storefronts without warning.

How can you buy the standard edition?
The game is available on PC, PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch. Man City forward Erling Haaland will be the cover of the standard edition.
For those ordering the standard edition, it comes with a few bonuses with your purchase.
Gamers will have a cover star loan for 10 games, a male and female ambassador loan item for five matches, extra personality points in player career mode and a five-star coach in Manager Career mode.

How can you buy the ultimate edition?
Fans may want to spend a little extra and purchase the ultimate edition, which came out seven days before the standard game.
One big difference between the ultimate and the standard edition is that customers will gain access to FC 24’s ultimate team campaign mode.
As well as that, fans will unlock 4,600 FC points, a Team of the Week one-pack, as well as a loan player item for 24 matches in ultimate team campaign mode.
Amazon is the only retailer with the ultimate edition available to pre-order for Xbox and PC.
PS5 gamers can pre-order the game from the official PlayStation store.

What are the new changes?
One of the biggest changes is that men and women can play in the same side in FC24’s Ultimate Team mode.
Another big change will see its new HyperMotion V technology come into play – which is supposed to translate the fluidity of real-world football into the game’s design.
The company are also using an enhanced version of Frostbit – which should improve the graphics of the game.

Gamers can evolve players on Ultimate Team and level them up instead of buying new ones
PlayStyles is a new feature that has been introduced. It can make a player seem more realistic by giving them enhanced skills.
In total, there are 34 PlayStyles which can be handed to a player, including ‘Trickster’ and ‘Slide Tackle.’
Evolutions for Ultimate Team is another major change. It basically allows you to upgrade an customise your players.
Gamers will have to complete challenges – with their players then being able to level up their rating and stats. Challenges included winning 10 games with your selected player or scoring with the player in five games.
