One of the most glamorous fixtures of the March international break sees England and Brazil meet in a friendly at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.

While there are a fair few injury absences, there’ll still be Three Lions quality on display in the form of Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Declan Rice, while the Selecao boast natural entertainers like Vinicius Junior and Bruno Guimaraes.

Both sides are preparing for international tournaments this summer; England head into Euro 2024 as one of the favourites, while Brazil need to ditch a recently-acquired losing habit after their disappointing 2022 World Cup.

Here’s how you can follow the action at Wembley.

England’s battle with Brazil at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night will be shown live around the world. Channel 4 won the United Kingdom’s rights to Three Lions games in 2022, with Euro 2024 qualifiers and Nations League games being broadcast on free-to-air television.

Over in the United States, FOX will screen the match through their various platforms, while DAZN have the rights in Canada. There are a number of options for viewers in Brazil, with Sky+ and Globo among them.

26 fixtures have been played out between England and Brazil, 22 of which have been friendlies. Since losing the first ever meeting in 1956, Brazil have dominated in the head-to-head stakes with 11 wins and just four defeats.

The Selecao are also unbeaten against the Three Lions in World Cups, emerging victorious in three of their four duels.

England have rarely approached games against Brazil as favourites but, even with their opponents losing their last three matches, Gareth Southgate has a number of significant absences in his squad that could affect their performance.

Even if this current Selecao outfit have struggled during a difficult year on and off the pitch, the Three Lions are definitely without Bukayo Saka and probably Harry Kane, meaning other stars will need to step up.

There’s enough firepower in the England squad to tip them for victory at Wembley, though their historically poor record in this fixture suggests it won’t be a one-sided affair.
