The Indiana Pacers are reaching into one of the franchise’s most recognizable eras for their latest uniform refresh.
Indiana’s new Statement Edition uniforms take their cues from the look the team debuted in 1997, reviving the Pacers’ signature pinstripes with a bold gold base, black striping and dark blue lettering.

The design puts Indiana front and center, with the state name stretched across the chest. The shorts feature an asymmetrical side detail that incorporates an outline of Indiana, the Pacers’ basketball logo and a gold star marking Indianapolis’ location.

A tribute to Bobby “Slick” Leonard is also built into the jersey, with his famous “Boom, Baby!” call printed near the bottom above the tag. Leonard, a former Pacers coach and beloved broadcaster, died in 2021.
The return of pinstripes carries added nostalgia for Pacers fans. The team’s previous pinstripe era overlapped with one of the strongest stretches in franchise history, including nine consecutive playoff appearances and a trip to the 2000 NBA Finals, where Indiana fell to the Los Angeles Lakers.
