The Trent Alexander-Arnold tale has taken another twist as Liverpool’s owner’s wife has broken her silence on his future.

Linda Pizzuti was at Anfield, serving refreshments to fans in the Main Stand as Liverpool defeated Tottenham 5-1 to secure the Premier League title on Sunday.

Alexander-Arnold was seen conversing with her husband, Liverpool owner John W Henry, after earning his second title with the club—a discussion that a lip-reader has reviewed.

Now Pizzuti has sent fans haywire with a comment she left on her Instagram post after the Reds scooped up their 20th English league title.

Posting a photo of Alexander-Arnold with Henry and others, she wrote: ‘Pitch celebration on winning the Premier League with supporters at Anfield.’

Pizzuti shared a photo of Alexander-Arnold and Henry in conversation after the win, and one of her comments has sparked mass speculation

‘A magical moment of connection, community, hopes, and pure joy. After more than 14 years with the club, this was truly a dream come true. Thank you, Liverpool.’

One fan commented ‘Just throwing in that Trent photo’ with an eye emoji.

And Pizzutti hit back with a cryptic response, sharing her own eye emoji.

That small, wordless act has lit the touchpaper for further speculation about the 26-year-old’s future, which is now the main topic of anxiety among Liverpool fans after Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk committed their future to the club.

‘Please don’t give us false hope,’ one supporter replied to Pizzutti.

‘Linda what do you knowww?’ another wrote.

‘Please make him stay,’ one said.

‘LINDA DON’T DO THIS TO ME,’ another shouted.

One tried some amateur detective work. They wrote: ‘He’s signing isn’t he? You’ve put in pics of Salah and Virgil as well (both have signed).’

Alexander-Arnold's future is up in the air as his contract is running out and Madrid want him

Alexander-Arnold led the celebrations for Liverpool, sharing an intimate clip from inside the dressing room as they sang ‘Freed From Desire’.

He also stood in front of the Kop end and smiled broadly before taking a seat on the grass with long-time friend Andy Robertson and Ryan Gravenberch, drinking in the atmosphere.

The local lad had made his first start since their defeat by PSG in March, when he suffered an ankle injury that sidelined him for several weeks, though he came off the bench to score against Leicester and celebrate wildly earlier this month.

After Liverpool won the title at Anfield in front of fans for the first time in 35 years, Alexander-Arnold was seen chatting with owner Henry.

Investigative and forensic lipreader Nicola Hickling, who spoke to OLBG, claimed that Henry opened the conversation by saying: ‘You’ve been quiet. How did you get on?’

She noted that the England international nodded in response before uttering: ‘Being sensible’.

Henry then raised up his hand and seemingly said: ‘I want you to do the right thing.’

In a blunt response, Alexander-Arnold said: ‘Yeah, yeah.’

In an act of reassurance, Henry replied: ‘Best way and don’t panic.’

The defender then said: ‘Should I decide?’

Hickling noted that Henry nodded slowly before saying: ‘Absolutely.’ He then turned to the fans and said: ‘Let them know.’

Alexander-Arnold then, seemingly, nodded in agreement with the 75-year-old.
