Real Madrid have reportedly sacked their chief medical officer Niko Mihic.

According to Marca, the Spanish club have become increasingly concerned with their injury problems.

The main source of frustration relates to how Mihic has handled Arda Guler’s recovery, with the young midfielder yet to play a game for the club after suffering several injury setbacks.

Real are reportedly unhappy with how Mihic, who has been at the club since 2017, has handled Guler’s situation.

There have been numerous other injury issues for Real to contend with so far this campaign.

Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and defender Eder Militao both suffered anterior cruciate ligament injuries.

in addition, Vinicius Junior, David Alaba and Ferland Mendy have all spent time on the sidelines.

Despite their problems on the fitness front Real are still competing at the top of LaLiga and are two points behind leaders Girona.
