Tottenham Hotspur achieved a momentous victory in Bilbao, triumphing over Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League final, marking their first trophy win in 17 years.

A lone scrappy goal in the first half by Brennan Johnson made all the difference in the sunny Spanish setting, securing a victory that will be etched forever in the memories of Spurs fans, highlighting a pinnacle night in their 142-year history.

Unsurprisingly, the players celebrated in style.

Celebrations erupted both on the field and back in the locker room, where beer and champagne were in abundance. The festivities continued as the team traveled back to their hotel in the city center by team bus, with social media lighting up with posts of players celebrating, singing, and relishing the moment.

Yves Bissouma, in particular, stole the spotlight, dancing shirtless in the aisle with his winner’s medal proudly draped around his neck.

Once back at their hotel, the celebrations continued, with some players and staff partying well into the early hours – still in their full kits.

Clips shared on social media platform X showed the squad singing Gala’s “Freed from Desire” – the iconic football anthem made famous by the exploits of former Wigan striker Will Grigg – as late as 3am with drinks in hands and smiles all around.

Even on the plane journey home, the celebrations rolled on, with players proudly posing with the trophy and continuing the chants of “Glory, Glory, Tottenham Hotspur.”

One trophy, seventeen years in the making — and one hell of a party to match.
