West Ham have been offered the chance to sign Marsielle forward Ismaila Sarr on loan late on deadline day.

The Hammers are in need of a new forward with the departures of Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma set to be announced.

Sarr joined Marseille last summer after four years with Watford where he made 50 Premier League appearances.

Sarr who has scored three goals in 14 Ligue 1 appearances, shone in the Africa Cup of Nations for Senegal before their shock exit this week.

Despite doubts over his future, the winger insisted is happy at Marseille, telling GFFN: ‘On a personal level, I feel good. We are a family, a team. I feel really great here.’

West Ham are light in attack after saying goodbye to Fornals after his switch to Real Betis was agreed for €8million (£6.8m).

The Hammers have also agreed a £15m fee for Said Benrahma with Lyon, though there is work still to be done before the deal is finalised as revealed on Tuesday’s It’s All Kicking Off – Transfer Week podcast.
