The Women’s Super League continues to enhance its burgeoning reputation and the January transfer window could see more world-class talent arrive in England’s top flight.

Clubs have been working diligently behind the scenes to bolster their squads ever since the market re-opened on 1 January as they strive to match the relentless growth and competitiveness shown throughout the WSL. The current season is arguably the most fiercely contested campaign to date, with several top-flight giants vying for the title and relegation becoming a pressing concern for several teams.
