Just a day prior, Secretary Noem had labeled the actions of the woman, Renee Nicole Good, as “domestic terrorism.” However, video evidence appears to contradict this narrative, showing Good gesturing to agents to pass her vehicle before she attempted to drive away.

The incident involving the shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis was recorded from various perspectives, sparking a wave of public indignation and demonstrations. This tragic event unfolded approximately a mile from where George Floyd was killed by police in 2020, adding to its resonance.

In New York, the protest began at Foley Square, with participants marching westward and then uptown, eventually arriving at Washington Square Park and continuing to the New York Immigration Court at 201 Varick Street. Protesters carried signs with messages like “Silence is compliance,” “ICE out! Feds out!” and “ICE murders! Hands off our cities!” Throughout the march, they chanted, “Whose streets? Our streets!” to assert their presence.
