A tragic discovery was made in Michigan as the body of a missing pregnant woman, who had been unaccounted for over three weeks, was located on Tuesday by a search team.

The remains of Rebecca Park were found not far from her mother’s residence in Boon Township. According to reports from WWTV, it was Park’s father who made the grim discovery. However, WPBN suggests that another individual might have been the one to find her body. Both individuals may have been part of the same search group that was actively combing the area on Tuesday.

The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, while confirming that a body had been located within Manistee National Forest, refrained from disclosing the identity pending official verification and notification of Park’s family, as reported by Cadillac News. They assured that further information would follow once the identification process was complete.

Park, aged 22, was last witnessed entering the passenger seat of a sedan near her mother’s home on November 3. She had mentioned to someone that she was being collected, though the driver remained unidentified to the witness, as detailed by CrimeOnline. Her cell phone was later discovered abandoned on a nearby road.

At the time of her disappearance, Park was 38 weeks pregnant, a circumstance that led authorities to consider her as potentially endangered.

Park was 38 weeks pregnant when she disappeared, and police said she was considered possibly endangered.

The sheriff’s office also said that it had not found any blooding clothing or other items, despite social media claims saying they had, Cadillac News said. They further claimed that misinformation shared online had hindered the investigation, prompting them to limit information provided.

This is a developing story. Check back for details.
