Amazon’s most recent addition to its low-cost tablet range was the 2024 Fire HD 8, but the company has also made a quiet change to the Fire HD 10 model introduced in 2023. While the tablet previously came in several storage options that all included 3GB of RAM, the 32GB version now includes 4GB of RAM. That upgrade comes with a modest price increase, moving the cost from $139.99 to $154.99.
The 64GB Fire HD 10 remains unchanged, still pairing that storage capacity with 3GB of RAM. Other core specifications are the same across both models, including a 10.1-inch display with 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, a 2GHz octa-core processor, up to 13 hours of battery life, and microSD support for expanded storage. The updated 32GB model is currently sold only with lock screen ads, though buyers can remove them later by paying a one-time fee. For shoppers who would rather avoid the $15 increase, Amazon is still listing the original 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version for $139.99, though availability may be limited.
