In an exciting development for streaming enthusiasts, Disney Plus has announced plans to introduce a vertical video feed later this year. This revelation came during Disney’s Global Tech & Data Showcase, held for advertisers at the prestigious CES event.

According to insights shared by Erin Teague, the Executive Vice President of Product Management for Disney Entertainment and ESPN, Disney Plus’s new feature will offer a diverse mix of content. As reported by Deadline, the vertical video format will encompass original short-form programs, curated social media clips, and reimagined scenes from longer shows or movies, creating a rich tapestry of entertainment options.

Teague elaborated on the initiative during her presentation, describing it as a unified platform for all the short-form Disney content viewers might desire. She emphasized the platform’s adaptability, noting, “Over time, we’ll enhance the user experience by exploring various formats, categories, and content types, crafting a dynamic feed tailored to your interests, whether in Sports, News, or Entertainment. This content will refresh in real-time, aligning with your most recent interactions.”
