Leaked specs for Sony’s next flagship wireless earbuds reveal ANC upgrades

The upcoming release of Sony’s WF-1000XM6 earbuds promises a significant leap forward in audio technology. Central to this advancement is the introduction of the new QN3e processor, which boasts a performance speed three times greater than that of the processor found in the previous WF-1000XM5 model, launched over two-and-a-half years ago. This enhanced processor is set to elevate active noise cancellation (ANC) capabilities, further supported by the inclusion of two additional microphones, bringing the total to eight.

Beyond processing power, the WF-1000XM6 is equipped with a reimagined speaker system, an upgraded digital-to-analog converter (DAC), and a more powerful amplifier, as reported by billbil-kun. These improvements aim to provide a richer and more immersive sound experience for users.
