Peacock is raising its prices by $3

A subscription to Peacock is set to become more expensive. NBCUniversal revealed on Thursday that the monthly cost for its ad-supported Peacock Premium will rise from $7.99 to $10.99, while the ad-free Premium Plus plan will increase from $13.99 to $16.99 per month, as previously noted by Variety.

For those new to the service, the price adjustment will start on July 23rd. Current subscribers will notice the change on or after August 22nd, contingent upon their billing cycle. Annual plans will also experience price hikes, with Peacock Premium now available for $109.99 yearly, up from $79.99, and Premium Plus increasing to $169.99 from $139.99.

In addition to the price hike, NBCUniversal announced plans to experiment with a new ad-supported Peacock “Select” tier at $7.99 a month ($79.99 annually). This plan will provide users access to content from NBC and Bravo, along with other selected shows.
