You can’t think of country music without thinking of Dolly Parton. The multitalented singer, songwriter, actor, philanthropist, record producer, entrepreneur, and author has entertained audiences for the better half of a century. The Grammy Award-winning artist first appeared on the Grand Ole Opry stage when she was only 13 years old. Since then, she has impressed fans with not just her lyrics but also her bubbly, larger-than-life persona.
Parton is famous for her voluptuous figure, big hair, bigger heart, and rhinestone-studded wardrobe. Many people don’t realize the “Here You Come Again” singer is not only small in stature but also has the shoe size to match.

Born in 1946 in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, Parton has 11 siblings. At the age of 5, she wrote her first song. And today, with more than 100 million record sales, she has earned 51 Grammy Award nominations, 11 wins, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Parton has recorded 25 number-one country hits, with seven of her albums topping the country charts. The “I Will Always Love You” singer has enjoyed a long-lasting career and continues to reinvent herself. She recently launched a line of cake mixes with Duncan Hines and wrote a book, Run, Rose, Run, with acclaimed author James Patterson.
In addition, the Steel Magnolias actor has received a Kennedy Center Honor, a National Medal of Arts, and seven Academy of Country Music Awards.

Despite her small shoe size, Dolly Parton has some big shoes to fill

According to Celeb Health Magazine, Parton has “excellent body measurements” of 41-25-38 inches. The Straight Talk actor stands a mere 5 feet tall. With an hourglass figure, she weighs approximately 105 pounds.
The Dollywood founder not only has a tiny 25-inch waist but wears an equally small 5 ½ shoe size.
Parton told The Guardian the secret to her small waist is a low-carb diet.
“I’m only about 5 feet, and you can’t hold on to too much weight when you’re so short,” the country legend explained. “So I stay on a low-carb diet pretty much through the week and eat what I want on weekends. And, of course, nothing matters on Thanksgiving and Christmas.”
Dolly Parton loves her sexy shoes
The Country Music Hall of Famer has always been known for her “gaudy rhinestone outfits,” blond wigs, heavy makeup, and five-inch heels. In an exclusive 1978 interview with Playboy, Parton explained that she bought all her shoes at Frederick’s of Hollywood.
“It’s the only place I can find shoes high enough and sexy enough to suit me,” she claimed. “I buy thousands of dollars of shoes every year.”
More recently, the “Head Over High Heels” singer told the drag icon RuPaul in an interview for Marie Claire that she wears high heels all the time, even when relaxing at home. Parton revealed she likes to be “ambulance-ready” at all times, with her hair, makeup, and wardrobe looking good.
“I actually do wear high heels most of the time,” the 76-year-old icon confessed. “I’m short, and I have to wear heels in order to reach the cabinets. I always enjoy wearing the shoes too, and I just feel more like me.”
