Was Slimelife Shawty Arrested For Murder Charges? Real Name & Jail Sentence Details

Slimelife Shawty is an American rapper who, along with 27 others, has been arrested on gang-related charges. The charges against Shawty and his 27 associates are detailed in the indictment.

The court document referred to the group as the “Young Slime Life” (YSL) enterprise and stated that the members of the group conspired to associate with one another and with others for the common goal of illegally obtaining money and property.

The indictment lists over 180 acts that support just the first of the 56 separate charges handed down to the members of the YSL. Other charges are murder, armed robbery, carjacking, theft, drug possession, aggravated assault, and participating in street gang activity.

 

Atlanta: Was Slimelife Shawty Arrested For Murder Charges?

Slimelife Shawty was charged with conspiracy to violate Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. The American rapper faced no additional charges.

Shawty is among the 28 defendants arrested on gang-related charges, including Young Thug and Gunna, in the arrest. The news broke late on May 9, with Michael Seiden and Mark Winne, WSB-TV reporters providing information on Twitter.

The TV reporter Seiden reviewed the 88-page indictment, revealing several vital details. He also shared a photo of Young Thus being taken into custody. 

The 88-page indictment provides the complete list of defendants and charges they’re facing. Shawty is charged with a violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

Twenty-eight members of the YSL gang or Young Slime Life, a group said to be involved with the national Blood gang, were arrested.

 

Artist Slimelife Shawty Real Name Is Wunnie Lee -His Mugshot

Slimelife Shawty is a famous American rapper whose real name is Wunnie Lee. The rapper is accused of conspiracy to violate the state’s RICO Act (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization).

Grammy Award-winning famous rapper Young Thus was arrested on Monday and booked on gang-related charges in the Fulton County Jail, Atlanta. He was too charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of being involved in criminal street gang activity.

In November 2021 interview, the rising star Wunnie discussed being inspired by Young Thug, referring to his new fame. The rapper admitted to being shy when he first started rapping.

However, after seeing Thus and the way he carried himself as an artist, Shawty said he grew more in love with the art form and was ultimately able to find the confidence to pursue the career professionally.

American Rapper Slimelife Shawty Jail Sentence

American Rapper Slimelife Shawty is currently held in custody and is yet to appear in court. Shawty is among 28 people listed in an 88-page indictment filed on Sunday in Fulton County Superior Court.

The Thirty-year-old Young Thug is scheduled to make his initial public appearance on May 10 at 11:30 a.m. On the other hand, Shawty is yet to be prepared to make a public appearance.

 

 

According to the indictment, the YSL enterprise started as a street gang in the Cleveland Avenue area of Atlanta back in 2012. The Indictment Stated That some YSL members claim close ties to Blood subset gangs.

Like many gangs, YSL also uses a variety of hand signs. The indictment further outlines a couple, including wiping the nose using the index finger, curling the ring, as well as pinky fingers inward towards the palm.
