    In Boston, a woman testifying in Mario Batali’s sexual misconduct trial claims the celebrity chef kissed and grabbed her while attempting to take a photo.

    Natalie Tene testified in Boston that Mario Batali grabbed her in a way she had never been touched before.

    Batali has pleaded not guilty to a charge of indecent assault and violence in connection with the case.

    Suing Mario Batali is an American chef, restaurateur, and writer. On the Food Network, he has participated in shows including Molto Mario and Iron Chef America, where he was one of the featured “Iron Chefs.”

     

    Celebrity chef Mario Batali has waived his right to a jury trial and is opting to have a judge decide his fate in his sexual misconduct trial in Boston.

    Batali’s trial began in Boston in May 2022, after he waived his right to a jury trial in favor of a judge’s decision.

    Batali is one of a number of high-profile men who have received public scrutiny in recent years as a result of the #MeToo social movement against sexual assault and harassment.

    In 2017, he stepped away from day-to-day operations at his restaurant empire and left the now-defunct ABC food show “The Chew” after four women accused him of unwanted touching.

    He opened an Eataly in the downtown Prudential Center in 2016 and a Babbo Pizzeria e Enoteca in Boston’s Seaport District in 2015.

    Batali’s Eataly stock has subsequently been purchased, and the city’s Babbo restaurant has closed.

    Natalie Tene From Boston Is Victim

    Natalie Tene, 32, is a Massachusetts woman who has accused famous chef Mario Batali of sexual misconduct.

    Tene told the judge that the fight began when Batali noticed her taking his picture and invited her to join him.

     

     

    She stated that after taking ten selfies with Batali, the chef began stroking her away from the camera’s view.

    She went on to say that in the majority of the photos, Batali’s eyes were closed and that “this guy was wasted” at the time.

    Batali waived his right to a jury trial, choosing instead for a judge to decide his fate.

    Tene also stated that the 2017 event embarrassed her until she heard from other women who had similar experiences with Batali.

    Natalie Tene is 32 years old. Natalie Tene is a victim of celebrity chef Mario Batali’s assault. She came forward to describe the incidents of April 1, 2017.

    Tene said in court that she went to the restaurant on March 31, 2017, around 9:30 p.m., and spent several hours socializing with a friend.

    She spotted Batali sitting at a bar at about midnight and took a photo of him over her shoulder.

    Tene has also launched a civil complaint against Batali, alleging “serious emotional distress” as a result of the incident.

    She is one of several women who have accused Batali of sexual assault, forcing him to step down from his restaurant empire and depart ABC’s food show The Chew.
