Mike Myers has been making audiences laugh for decades, but the comedian looked remarkably youthful when he attended a rock concert in New York last week.
The 63-year-old actor turned heads at The Strokes’ sold-out homecoming show at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, where he appeared to have barely aged.
Myers also used the occasion to make a pointed political statement, wearing a T-shirt printed with the words “Fight Fascism.”
The concert featured opening performances from Beach House and TV On The Radio, along with surprise appearances by progressive politicians Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders.
The pair introduced The Strokes before the band took the stage. Ocasio-Cortez praised the group as “the greatest rock band of our generation.”
After the show, Myers shared his enthusiasm for the performances on Instagram. He also encouraged his followers to “vote in November” and “fight fascism.”

The slogan sparked debate among fans in the comments, though many applauded the Austin Powers star for taking such a forthright political position.
“Love your acting Mike but respectfully disagree with your political beliefs,” one person wrote.
Another fan offered a more enthusiastic response, commenting, “I didn’t think I could love Mike Myers any more.”
A third wrote, “If someone wearing a shirt that just says ‘Fight Fascism’ is triggering for you, you need to get your safe space so you can reflect on WHY THE F**K that is.”
Myers has also attracted attention this year for his dramatic change in appearance, dyeing his hair silver blonde after decades as a brunette.
He first revealed the striking new hairstyle at the Los Angeles premiere of Michael in April.
Before the screening at the Dolby Theatre, the Canadian-American actor shared a loved-up red-carpet appearance with his wife, Kelly Tisdale.
The couple, who have been married for 16 years, looked happier than ever as they stopped to pose for a series of affectionate photographs.

In June, Myers was even mistaken for fellow comedian Steve Martin while attending the 2026 Canadian Screen Awards.
“I thought it was Steve Martin at first glance,” one fan posted online. Another asked, “When did Mike Myers become Steve Martin?”
One user remarked, ‘Mike Myers looks completely different now. Aging hit him hard, white hair and all.
‘Fans saying he looks like Steve Martin or Baz Luhrmann. Time really changes everyone.’
Myers was presented with a Canadian Screen Award after he was a leader in publicizing the phrase ‘Elbows up’ as a reply to U.S. President Donald Trump’s stated sentiments about annexing the country.
The Wayne’s World star was emotional as he accepted the honors, praising Canada and a number of his colleagues and collaborators over the years.
‘I had a whole speech written about how much I love Canada, but I suspect some of you might be sick of hearing that at this point,’ he said.
He welled up with tears as he thanked his parents ‘for moving to Canada and stressing the importance of being silly.’
Myers added, ‘I just want to say, Canada, I don’t know what to say, dude. I’d just really be nothing without you.’
The Academy called Myers a ‘legend’ in an Instagram post recapping his speech, adding, ‘We are honored to present Mike Myers with the Academy Icon Award.’
