After announcing his retirement, Tom Brady might not be retiring from the NFL afterall.
“When he mentioned ‘never say never’ on a return, it is more than just words,” an insider told HollywoodLife. “Tom is going to monitor the NFL off-season with a fine-tooth comb because if the pieces fall into place, he’d be interested in returning.”
The source added: “He’d be interested in joining a team who are close to winning a Super Bowl, like the San Francisco 49ers.”
“I have always believed the sport of football is an ‘all-in’ proposition — if a 100% competitive commitment isn’t there, you won’t succeed, and success is what I love so much about our game,” Brady said in a statement on Instagram weeks ago. “There is a physical, mental and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential.
