A teen shooter was arrested for being responsible for the two separate shooting incidents.

The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office and Casper Police Department released a joint statement about the arrest of a teen shooter responsible in two but separate shooting incidents.

The arrested teen shooter was said to be only 16-years old.

In a statement, the law enforcement responded to call in regards to a disturbance near the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds caused by a group of juveniles and young adults were in conflict, it was suspected that the teen shooter was among them.

The report included that the concern parties who called a dispatch seems to have heard a gunshot and that there was a woman who was shot on her lower leg.

The said woman who sustained a non-life threatening injuries was directed to the hospital and later discharged.

NCSD and CPD believed that the shooting incidents caused by the teen shooter are isolated and only a dispute between two groups and assures that there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The second shooting happened two days after the first one. The Casper Police Department responded to a report about shots being fired around 3500 block of Bighorn Road. About 10 gunshots were heard, says reporting parties. The one responsible for this shooting was the arrested alleged teen shooter.

The officers who responded to the report determine an occupied house shot by 10 bullied, and that nobody was injured in the said shooting.

The 16-year-old teen shooter was taken into custody and is scheduled to be transported to the Natrona County Detention Center.

The 16-year-old teen shooter was charged as an adult and was sentenced with three counts of aggravated assault, one count each of felony property damage and witness intimidation for shooting incident.

Casper Star Tribune noted in a report that the law enforcement agencies released a statement the the shooting incident related to the teen shooter remains under investigation. The agencies are urging those with relevant information about the shooting or teen shooter to make a report through dispatch at 307-235-9282 or 307-235-9300 or to make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers of Central Wyoming at crime-stoppers.com or 307-577-8477.

Crime Stoppers of Central Wyoming is offering a reward for the information that may assist the teen shooter case investigation.
