The baseball game shooting incident happened last Friday.

During the baseball game shooting, two women, aged 42 and 26, were injured while sitting in the bleacher watching the game between the Chicago White Sox and the Oakland As at the Guaranteed Rate Field, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Authorities said that the 42-year-old baseball game shooting victim was shot in the leg, while the 26-year-old baseball game shooting victim sustained a bullet graze in the abdomen.

The White Sox have expressed their concern for the victims and baseball game shooting hope for their quick recovery.

Investigators are unsure whether the shots fired during the baseball game shooting, were from inside or outside the ballpark.

The baseball game shooting occurred around the game’s third inning, as reported by a fan speaking to the Chicago Tribune, CBS Sports reports.

During the baseball game shooting, fans in the area near the incident were asked to leave, but the rest were not required to. The game continued as scheduled, as the police stated that there was no reason to believe there was an active threat, CBS Sports added.

The identity of the baseball game shooting suspect remains unknown.
