Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala, 25, is attracting enquiries from Galatasaray, Juventus and Napoli.

The Belgian midfielder arrived at the City Ground in the summer of 2022 as then-boss Steve Cooper set about preparing for his side’s first season back in the Premier League.

Mangala was signed for £12.75million from Stuttgart, joining the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi and Moussa Niakhate in making the switch to the English top-flight with the Tricky Trees.

As a result, he has piqued the interest of Italian giants Napoli and Juventus, as well as Galatasaray.

Both Serie A outfits are known to be in the market for deep-lying midfielders in the January window.

That both are linked with similar targets is not much of a surprise, given Juventus’ new director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli was only poached from Napoli last term.

Bournemouth winger Hamed Traore has also emerged as a target for Napoli.

The 23-year-old has only just recovered from malaria and last played for Bournemouth on November 1.

Traore only joined the Cherries last summer in a £20m deal from Serie A side Sassuolo, and has made just 13 appearances for Andoni Iraola’s side and scored one goal.

Napoli have struggled to build on the successes of last season’s historic Scudetto win, with Luciano Spalletti leaving his post at the end of the campaign.

The Partenopei currently find themselves in ninth place in the Italian top-flight.
