Robbery Incident

The Topeka Police Department, acting swiftly on the report of a robbery at Milk and Honey Coffee Co., took Julia Mendez into custody. The charges against her include aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and criminal restraint, along with various other offenses, such as a vehicle registration violation and driving with a suspended license.

The incident unfolded on Friday, Jan. 19, at approximately 2:30 p.m., when an adult female, Julia Mendez, entered Milk and Honey Coffee Co. and demanded money. The prompt response from the Topeka Police Department led to the quick identification of the suspect’s vehicle, resulting in the detention of two individuals believed to be involved.

Milk and Honey Coffee Co. was robbed at 2200 SE 29th St. in Topeka, Kan. The local officials responded quickly to the information and arrested the perpetrator to protect the community.
