Cara Delevingne showed off her dramatic transformation after getting treatment for substance abuse issues while at the 2025 Coachella Music Festival over the weekend.

The British model, 32 – who joined other celebrities at the star-studded event in the California desert – stopped by the Capital Records Party as well as the Revolve bash during weekend one of the annual festival.

It comes after Cara began her sobriety journey in 2022 when she checked herself into a 12-step program shortly after photos emerged of the star looking disheveled and jittery at Van Nuys airport.

The Suicide Squad actress looked radiant wearing a pair of dark brown shorts as well as a tan tank top and stylish denim jacket.

She completed the ensemble by slipping into a pair of Prada sandals and sported fashionable brown shades.

Her blonde locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flown down past her shoulders in light waves.

Cara accessorized the outfit with gold earrings as well as a flashy necklace and bracelets on each of her wrists.

The beauty was seen mingling other stars on the festival grounds, including Julia Fox, Tyga and Cher’s boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards.

Weekend one of the Coachella Music Festival officially kicked off on Friday, April 11 with headliners such as Lady Gaga and Green Day taking to the stage.

Late last year in November, the supermodel clarified that she was still sober after beginning her journey in 2022.

At the time, she shared Instagram photos of herself carrying a bottle of champagne to recreate an iconic 2000s moment for Halloween.

She doubled down that she was still sober after a fan wrote in the comment section, ‘I thought you were working on your sobriety.’ Cara then simply penned in response, ‘I am still sober.’

Back in September 2022, Delevingne was seen looking jittery while outside of Van Nuys airport. At one point, she walked around only in her socks and held a conversation on the phone while smoking.

Another moment showed the model bending over next to her dog Alfie as a member of security stood close by.

She later left the airport inside a sleek, black SUV and was spotted sticking her feet out of the backseat window.

At the time, sources informed DailyMail.com that Delevingne had just returned from attending Burning Man.

‘She had just spent days in the desert, not eating all that much and she looked disheveled because she hadn’t had time to scrub up yet…,’ an insider said.

While talking to Variety last year in May, Cara opened up about being sober and stated, ‘You’re not alone.’

She then encouraged, ‘If I can do it, anyone can. But you need to communicate and be honest about it as much as you can – especially with yourself.

‘I think that’s what I’ve always done with anything in this business. Whether it’s been being vocal about anxiety, depression, recovery, anything, it’s just you owe it to people to talk about your struggles…

‘Because being in this world is not perfect. No one is perfect. So to be honest, it’s the least I can do.’

And during an interview with Vogue, Cara got candid about her decision to check into the 12-step program in 2022.

‘Before I was always into the quick fix of healing, going to a weeklong retreat or to a course for trauma, say, and that helped for a minute, but it didn’t ever really get to the nitty-gritty, the deeper stuff.’

The model explained, ‘This time I realized that 12-step treatment was the best thing, and it was about not being ashamed of that.

‘The community made a huge difference. The opposite of addiction is connection, and I really found that in 12-step.’

Delevingne also revealed that she has gotten ‘her power back’ amid her sobriety while talking to The Times last year.

‘I used to think drugs and alcohol helped me cope…but they didn’t, they kept me sad and super depressed. I feel like I’ve got my power back and I’m not being controlled by other things.’

Cara then reflected on the notorious photos of herself at Van Nuys airport and stated, ‘It was a stupid decision to go straight from a festival to work.

‘I should have waited a day. But it was going to happen to me anyway, there were plenty of photos out there of me looking wasted.’

However, the star credits the photos to helping her get sober and expressed that being around people who do drink ‘doesn’t mess her up.’

Cara has been keeping busy and recently enjoyed a date night with girlfriend and musician Minke at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood late last month.

The pair were later seen leaving the iconic hotel together after attending producer Jeff Beacher’s birthday bash.

The model has a number of projects under her belt, such as the upcoming biopic about author Patricia Highsmith titled The Murderous Miss Highsmith – with the cast also including Shailene Woodley and Noemie Merlant.

The premise follows the author, ‘with a horror twist, exploring her fascination for gruesome murders, her love life and what inspired one of her most famous pieces of art: The Talented Mr. Ripley,’ per IMDB.
