During the tenth day of Karen Read’s new murder trial, jurors were presented with evidence showing that she called her boyfriend, John O’Keefe, dozens of times and left numerous expletive-filled voicemails while he lay dying in the Massachusetts snow.

“John, I f—king hate you,” Read told O’Keefe in one of the voicemails she left the Boston cop between 12:33 a.m. and 6:03 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2022.

“You are f—king using me right now. You’re f—king another girl,” she said in another, according to NBC Boston.

In total, Read attempted to contact O’Keefe 44 times in just under five hours on that tragic morning. She left eight voicemails and sent multiple angry text messages in between her calls.

Jurors were shown a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the content of these communications. Massachusetts State Police trooper Nicholas Guarino, a digital forensics expert specializing in cellphone evidence, provided further details to the court.
