When Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce in a lush, storybook setting surrounded by more than 1,000 relatives and friends, the ceremony appeared to have been lifted straight from one of the singer’s romantic music videos.
The atmosphere was so dramatic—and the vows so emotional—that friends later said the wedding even moved the groom to tears.
Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Gigi Hadid and Julia Roberts were among the A-list guests watching as Adam Sandler officiated inside Madison Square Garden (MSG). The arena had been transformed into a fantastical woodland, complete with the whimsical forest setting Swift had envisioned.
By every appearance, the celebration was flawless.
Yet once the champagne had been poured and guests had danced to performances from Grammy winners including Stevie Nicks, the team behind the elaborate setting reportedly returned to dismantle it. Millions of dollars’ worth of custom décor, built over several months, was packed away and removed in silence.
Where did it go? Our News Outlet has learned exclusively that the materials were allegedly transported from New York to Pennsylvania, where they were reportedly destroyed by fire.
According to a source, Taylor Swift’s team allegedly ordered the wedding design builds to be burned after the celebration
Swift and Travis Kelce, pictured after their August 2025 engagement, reportedly married less than a year later in a multimillion-dollar ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3
Our News Outlet was told that Swift’s team instructed workers to dispose of all the decorations, allegedly leaving behind no souvenirs or remnants.
“They didn’t want people to steal it and then auction it or sell it, so they just burned it all,” a source claimed in an exclusive interview with Our News Outlet.
The concern over unauthorized sales was reportedly understandable. Swifties had gathered around MSG throughout the week in hopes of glimpsing the wedding installation—or taking home an unexpected piece of it.
Fans who waited outside the arena into the early hours were rewarded with leftover desserts provided by the couple’s catering company.
However, when it came to the centerpiece of Swift’s wedding celebration, her team allegedly insisted that “there could not be any traces” left behind.
The custom builds reportedly included Colosseum-inspired walls, artificial trees, forest-print fabrics, a 35-foot faux greenhouse, a peach-colored games tent and several other structures. They were allegedly transported to Pennsylvania after the event.
Some of the construction work had taken place at Rock Lititz, a Lititz, Pennsylvania campus featuring rehearsal studios where artists commonly develop and test large-scale tour productions.
The precise location of the alleged burn site remains unknown.
Our News Outlet obtained renderings and photographs earlier this week showing the reported design plans for Swift and Kelce’s wedding
The one-off structures, including this build marked with the couple’s initials, were made specifically for Swift and Kelce
A source said this structure was designed to resemble a wall from the Colosseum
According to a source, some of the wedding builds were created to give the appearance of concrete
Exclusive photographs obtained by Our News Outlet showed portions of the décor being assembled at a West Coast workshop
A source said Swift’s team wanted the wedding materials incinerated because they did not want them stolen, auctioned or resold
“They told us it was going to be incinerated, but I don’t know where it was physically incinerated,” the insider said.

Our News Outlet contacted Swift’s representatives for comment on the alleged order to burn the materials but did not receive a response.
The source also claimed that Swift did not personally issue the instruction.
“The fact that no one has relics of it and everything had to be burned and properly disposed of is kind of crazy,” the insider said.
Planning and construction for the wedding reportedly began months before Swift and Kelce exchanged vows. The designs were built on the West Coast and then moved to the East Coast in 11 semi-trucks ahead of the ceremony.
Although transporting large-scale sets across the country is not unusual, the source described the use of 11 trucks as excessive and “pretty crazy.”
A source told Our News Outlet that Swift and Kelce’s bespoke wedding décor cost millions of dollars to produce

Reports indicated that the wedding materials traveled in 11 semi-trucks
Rock Lititz, a production campus used by artists preparing major tour sets, was reportedly where several of the wedding designs were first constructed
“They were completely packed,” the source said. “Eleven semi-trucks to move everything across the country and then burn it all was pretty wild, simply because they didn’t want people to have access to it.”
For three months, Swift has kept many details of the wedding private, including the design of her dress and the look of the reception.
Earlier this week, however, Our News Outlet exclusively obtained renderings that offered a glimpse at the plans for the couple’s celebration.
A source said Swift played an active role throughout the planning and design process because she “didn’t want to just be handed a wedding. She wanted to participate in the planning and design of it all.”
Despite her close involvement, the insider said the “Love Story” singer was not a “bridezilla” and was instead a pleasure to work with.
“She was super nice, super sweet and very friendly. She took time to acknowledge all the hard work everyone was doing and was very appreciative,” the source said.
Sources also said Swift and Kelce worked well together in the lead-up to their wedding
Staff members reportedly found Kelce, 37, equally relaxed and approachable.
“He would chime in every now and then, but most of his comments were pretty minor,” the insider said. Describing the couple together, the source added: “We saw them smiling together. That was cute.”
After the wedding, the newlyweds extended the celebrations with a short honeymoon at the exclusive Yellowstone Club resort in Montana.
Kelce then returned to work, joining NFL training camp before getting back on the field with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Swift, meanwhile, has embraced her role as a supportive wife, cheering him on from the suites at Arrowhead Stadium while continuing to pursue her own projects.
She recently released “Patient Zero,” a chart-topping single included on The Encore, the deluxe edition of her album The Life of a Showgirl.
