Fintech giant Chime moving to bigger space on Fifth Ave NYC

Chime, a fintech company based in San Francisco, has recently expanded its presence in New York with a new lease at the 122 Fifth Ave. property owned by Bromley Companies, as announced last week.

Chime will move to 84,000 square feet from a smaller space at 101 Greenwich St. The company also has space in Midtown.

The 300,000-square-foot building in the Flatiron District, having undergone a $100 million renovation and upgrade, is now more than 90% leased. Microsoft remains the largest occupant.

Bromley’s CEO, Nicholas Haines, commented, “We were confident that a tech company like Chime would be drawn to our transformation of 122 Fifth, which boasts state-of-the-art loft office space, wellness features, and a rooftop terrace with a water tower.”
