Sour-faced Belichick and Hudson make swift exit from pageant

Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick left quickly after she was not crowned Miss Maine USA. Despite not winning, the former cheerleader managed to keep a smile as they departed the hotel.

Jordon, 24, was still dressed in her purple evening gown and wearing her Hancock sash. She held the hand of her 73-year-old partner as they were guided out by a bodyguard through a discreet garage.

Belichick showed no emotion as they crossed the underground parking area. Meanwhile, Jordon confidently continued to wave at the cameras.

He was seen scowling at her behind the wheel of the car as she pointed at her bedazzled bag again as they pulled away in the 2025 Mercedes Benz GLE 580, worth $89,200.

However, they both grinned as they waved at their bodyguard for the weekend, flashing peace signs as Bill drove them away from the event.

Jordon declined any interviews, but was quick to thank those who told her that she looked incredible in the purple floor length gown with a slit, paired with silver heels.

It comes after she placed third runner up in the contest – one place lower than she was in the contest in 2024. Her older beau was pictured with her father, Heath, 52, for the first time since their relationship became public.

Before the final placing was announced, she gave an emotional speech in front of her father and Belichick, saying ‘hate never wins’.

The eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach Belichick was escorted in by security before shaking hands with Heath Hudson, 52, and smiling at him ahead of the pageant getting started.

Heath was also escorted to the front row seats by the former Navy veteran for the second day of the event, hoping to see his daughter, 24, don the winners tiara.

Jordon was, however, awarded the Style award by the judges with Belichick and her father watching on. It comes after fans questions if Hudson’s parents supported the relationship, despite having an age gap of around 12 years themselves.

But the pair were seen happily chatting ahead of Hudson strutting her stuff on the stage, with sources confirming Bill has visited her childhood home in Hancock previously.

Despite a special segment of the show dedicated to Mothers Day, Hudson was the only contestant not to record a message for her mother.

Hudson’s smiling display at the Miss Maine contest comes less than 24 hours after DailyMail.com revealed that she almost quit the contest before it had even begun, amid a backlash against her relationship with Belichick.

Sources close to the ‘headstrong’ 24-year-old cheerleader revealed that she had been thinking about dropping out after the disastrous CBS interview aired of her interrupting on behalf of 49-years-older beau.

Hudson has been under siege for her role in their relationship for close to two weeks, in the run up to the contest in Portland, Maine.

Those close to the brunette confirmed to DailyMail.com that the backlash did make her consider dropping out, but her appetite to win after narrowly losing in 2024 meant she couldn’t step away.

One source told DailyMail.com: ‘All the girls were so worried about her, they’re all friends and she’s been so quiet all week.

‘It’s not like her to not post on social media or be out of touch with everyone for that long.

Earlier Saturday, Hudson had been spotted wearing a green outfit for the Miss Maine pageant

After being placed in the top five, Hudson said in a speech that ‘hate never wins’

‘She considered dropping out because she was worried that it would hurt her chances in the contest.

‘Honestly, she should win, or at least place in the top three. If she doesn’t its purely because of everything that has been going on – which isn’t fair at all.

‘She doesn’t deserve to be judged based on who she’s dating, and dealing with the media comes with experience. She is young, but she can learn, and you never know what happened in the background.’

In the end, she did place in the top three, but once again failed to get onto the top step of the podium, with the victory being awarded to Shelby Powell, of Bangor, who will go on to represent Maine at Miss USA.
