Australia’s Eurovision contestant, Go-Jo, has exited the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.
Go-Jo, known offstage as Marty Zambotto, kicked off the second semi-final with his performance of Milkshake Man on Friday morning (AEST).

Viewers voted for their preferred performances via televote, resulting in 10 countries advancing from the 16 in the second semi-final.

Lithuania, Israel, Armenia, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Latvia, Malta and Greece were the 10 countries that made it through.
In addition to Australia, Montenegro, Ireland, Georgia, Czechia and Serbia were also knocked out of the contest in the second semi-final.
Go-Jo spoke to SBS News ahead of the semi-final, and was asked what success would look like for him in this year’s contest.
“I think just seeing smiles,” he replied, adding that it would be a reflection of the hard work that went into the performance.
“A lot of people would see me, as the performer, but I have an incredible team behind everything.

I think one of the most meaningful things is making them proud, and obviously Australia. It’s such a big thing for me. Just, seeing everyone smile at the end of everything, I think that’s a big win.”
