A woman from Wisconsin, employed as a caregiver at a senior living center, is now facing charges of reckless homicide. The charge arises from an incident where she allegedly pushed a 76-year-old resident with such force that it resulted in a broken femur. This injury subsequently contributed to the resident’s death, according to the police.

The accused, 27-year-old Abrianna Clark from Milwaukee, is charged with second-degree reckless homicide. The incident occurred in November 2024, while the victim was under her care at Story Point Senior Living in Mequon, as stated by the Ozaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

Clark’s criminal complaint, obtained by local Fox affiliate WITI, outlines a series of events that unfolded at the facility surrounding the victim’s alleged assault, including how Clark told her co-workers, “If anybody snitch on me, I’m going to get on that,” according to prosecutors.

“[The victim] appeared to be fearful of Clark,” the complaint says.

Mequon police were dispatched to Story Point on Nov. 14 for a report of “physical abuse to an elderly person in the memory care unit,” the complaint alleges. Officers learned upon their arrival that the victim was allegedly pushed on Nov. 7 by Clark, and that she was taken to the hospital and treated for a broken femur. The facility director told cops that Clark “had pushed (the victim) to the ground” and even admitted to it afterward, saying it happened after the victim “hit her with a ruler, and broke her glasses,” per the complaint.

“I pushed her,” Clark allegedly stated about five times, according to a staff member who also spoke with authorities.

When questioned by police, Clark allegedly changed her tune and insisted she “did not push her,” according to the complaint. She said the woman was found on the bathroom floor after falling on her own.
