Baby, baby, baby, no.
Justin Bieber once again took to Instagram with a mysterious post about his faith, prompting fans to recall his infamous online mishap that followed the release of his wife Hailey Bieber’s May 2025 Vogue cover.
“Telling other humans they deserve something is like raising someone else’s kids,” he wrote on Tuesday.
“Who are you to tell someone what someone should or shouldn’t have. The audacity. That’s not your place. God decides what we deserve.”
Several of the pop star’s followers quickly noted his past admission, where he told 28-year-old Hailey she would never land a Vogue cover.
“Justin. You told Hailey she couldn’t be on a cover of Vogue, isn’t that telling her she couldn’t have something?” one user wrote.
Some supporters stood by Justin’s model wife, who recently achieved a monumental milestone by selling her Rhode beauty line for $1 billion, adding, “Honestly, I believe Hailey ‘deserves’ better.”
“Lmaoo hes mad af, people already open[ed] their eyes and finally see that Hailey deserves so much better than his problematic [ass],” a third commented.
The “One Less Lonely Girl” singer, 31, was accused of stealing his wife’s thunder last month amid ongoing speculation of marital troubles after he shared via Instagram that he made the bitter jab to “get even” during an argument.
“Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” Justin captioned the post that was meant to celebrate Hailey’s accomplishment. “I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue. Yikes I know, so mean.”
“I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even,” he mused. “We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.”
After fans called out the “Sorry” singer for being an “unsupportive partner,” Justin drastically edited his caption by switching out the lengthy rant with a slew of emojis.
But a source close to the couple recently told Page Six that Justin’s Instagram post was simply misinterpreted online.
“It was his way of saying ‘I’m sorry for doubting you, congratulations.’ That’s all it was. [Hailey] knows his personality,’” the insider said, also crediting Hailey with helping Justin mature since they got married in September 2018.
“They love each other. She’s been really good for him,” the source added.
