The house in the Treasure Lake community in DuBois, Pa. where a man was shot dead (WATM).
A Pennsylvania man is dead after his roommate allegedly shot him following an argument about their living situation.
Christopher Euard, aged 52, is currently imprisoned after authorities claimed he allegedly opened fire and killed his roommate, Timothy Pirraglia, whose age remains undisclosed. As per an arrest affidavit accessed by the local Courier Express news outlet, law enforcement officials responded to an emergency call at a residence within the gated Treasure Lake community in DuBois, centrally located in the state, during the early hours of June 7.
The call was placed by Euard, who allegedly told police that he got into a fight with his roommate and killed him.

The affidavit details that when officers arrived, they encountered Euard outside the house, where he was immediately detained. Inside the residence, Pirraglia was discovered deceased, having sustained a single shotgun shell to the chest.
Euard allegedly informed the police that he and Pirraglia had been embroiled in conflicts over their living situation for several weeks before their ultimate dispute. On the previous evening, Euard mentioned engaging in a verbal altercation with Pirraglia upon returning from work. According to the affidavit, this argument escalated into physical violence, with Pirraglia punching Euard and “shoving his head into a corner.”
The two men went into their separate rooms to “cool down.” Euard told police that 35 minutes after they parted ways, Pirraglia said he was leaving, having already packed a backpack of belongings. Euard then retrieved his AR-15-style rifle from his bedroom.
McClatchy News also obtained the affidavit and reported on the conversation that reportedly ensued between the two men that was overheard by a third, unnamed roommate who was interviewed by police. According to the affidavit, he told police that after the men exchanged a few insults, he heard Pirraglia say, “Do it. You’re not going to do it.”
That statement was allegedly followed by the sound of a single gunshot.
When the other roommate confronted Euard, the suspect reportedly said, “He’s down.”
The roommate responded, “What do you mean he’s down?”
Euard said, “You know what happened.”
The roommate told police that he then left the home.
Euard told police that it took him several hours to report the shooting because he “passed out.”
Euard was charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and recklessly endangering another person. He is being held at the Clearfield County Jail without bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
