Investigators uncovered 13.9 grams of fentanyl, which police say is enough to potentially kill nearly 7,000 people.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Following an investigation that revealed the presence of drugs and firearms at a Jacksonville business, two men have been charged with felonies, the sheriff’s office reported on Thursday.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office stated that investigators acted on a tip indicating that drug dealers were operating from a business on North Main Street, distributing illegal narcotics. The location of this business is adjacent to a church and directly across from a middle school, according to police.

After executing a search warrant on the property, police said detectives found and seized the following items:

  • 13.9 grams of fentanyl (enough to potentially kill nearly 7,000 people)
  • 16.1 grams of powder cocaine
  • 4.6 grams of crack cocaine
  • 1.9 grams of oxycodone
  • 347.7 grams of marijuana
  • 2 firearms (one had been reported lost)
  • $2,966 in cash
  • One gold chain

Police have detained Eyob Woldetensay, 35, and Adriann Hendon, 51, on felony drug charges. These charges include the possession of illegal drugs with the intent to sell them within 1,000 feet of a place of worship.
