The Club World Cup, a tournament featuring 32 teams, will be held in the United States from June 14 to July 13, showcasing some of the world’s top soccer talent.

Some are household names with huge followings.

Others are much more under the radar and not often on American television (the Club World Cup’s 63 matches are available to stream for free on DAZN).

Let’s take a look at 10 intriguing players to watch in the next few weeks:

Lionel Messi (Inter Miami)

Arguably the sport’s GOAT, he is in the final stage of his career in America. Every chance to watch him should be cherished.

Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid)

Considered one of the best in the world since he was a teenager, he just completed his first season with the Spanish giants.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Possibly the best pure goal scorer in the world, at 6-foot-4 he possesses a rare combination of size and speed.

Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich)

An exciting, young attacking midfielder and winger, he seems to keep getting better and better.

Désiré Doué (Paris Saint-Germain)

At 20 years old, he’s emerged as one of the best young players in the world and was integral to PSG’s UEFA Champions League title this past year.

No matter your location, you can watch the FIFA Club World Cup for free on DAZN. To begin, you’ll need an email address. While no subscription is necessary, you must create a free account on the streaming service to start watching.

For those looking for an enhanced viewing experience, DAZN offers premium paid options that include HDR picture quality, Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound, and fewer advertisements. DAZN Premium plans start at $19.99 per month.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea)

A shining light in some dark seasons for Chelsea recently.

Salomón Rondón (Pachuca)

Has scored goal after goal since moving to Mexico, even at 35 years old. Had a tournament-high nine goals in seven games to lead Pachuca to the 2023-24 CONCACAF Champions League title.

Sergio Ramos (Monterrey)

The Real Madrid legend and iconic defender is winding down his career in Mexico.

Themba Zwane (Mamelodi Sundowns)

Known as “The Immortal 10+1” (he wears No. 11), Zwane is widely considered the best player in South African history.

Edinson Cavani (Boca Juniors)

After starring for various European sides, including Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, he’s still got it at 38 years old, now playing in Argentina.
