DAILY vitamins sold at popular retailers have been recalled because they might contain peanuts.

The B12 vitamin gummies are on shelves at Aldi and BJ’s stores across the nation.

But now, the US Food and Drug Administration is warning customers that the popular supplements are sparking allergy fears.

The vitamins, sold in stores and online, have been recalled after potentially being tainted by peanuts, which are not on the ingredients list.

Aldi discovered the possible contamination while conducting routine testing to confirm the product had accurate labels.

One test found a potential presence of peanuts, the FDA said.

No allergic reactions have been reported so far, but the recall was issued out of caution.

The allergy alert impacts Vita-Warehouse Corp.’s products.

The brands Welby, Berkley-Jensen, and VitaGlobe are affected.

Buyers can return the products to the store where they got them for a full refund.

“Customers do not need to be allergic to peanuts to receive a full refund,” a Vita-Warehouse Corp. spokesperson told The U.S. Sun.

“We are offering refunds to anyone who purchased the affected lot of B12 gummies, regardless of whether they have a peanut allergy.

“This recall was initiated out of an abundance of caution to prioritize consumer safety.”

To obtain a refund, customers must submit a photo of the product, specifically capturing the bottom of the bottle with the lot number and expiration date visible.

Vita’s internal testing didn’t find any presence of peanuts, despite Aldi’s concerns.

One lot of Welby brand’s Vitamin B12 Energy Support gummy product 1000 mcg, which has 140 gummies in the bottle, is recalled.

Another lot of Berkeley Jensen’s Vitamin B12 1000 mcg 250 Gummies gummies are recalled, as well as VitaGlobe’s Vitamin B12 Extra Strength 60 Gummies.

Vitamin B12 is a crucial nutrient that maintains healthy red blood cells and nerve function.

People often take B12 to help boost their energy levels.

A bottle of the Welby gummies costs $8.79 at Aldi, according to the retailer’s website, but the product is currently unavailable online.

The Berkley Jensen B12 gummies cost $12.99 at BJ’s, according to their website.

A pack of Vita Globe’s B12 gummies is also available at Walmart for just $5.95 and is still available and unaffected by the recall.

Peanut allergies affect approximately 1 to 2% of the U.S. population, equating to up to 12 million people, as reported by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
