US intelligence report's damning findings about Iran bombings

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has confirmed the country’s nuclear facilities were “badly damaged” in American strikes over the weekend.

The delicate truce between Israel and Iran seemed stable on Wednesday following a turbulent beginning. This situation has sparked a cautious optimism that it might pave the way for a lasting peace deal, despite Tehran’s firm stance on continuing its nuclear ambitions.

At the NATO summit, when asked about a US intelligence report that found Iran’s nuclear program has been set back only a few months, Trump scoffed and said it would at least take “years” to rebuild.

Brigadier General Effie Defrin, a spokesman for the Israeli military, stated on Wednesday that Israel believes Iran’s nuclear sites have suffered “substantial damage,” which has delayed its nuclear development “by years.”

Grossi said he could not speculate on how bad the damage was but that Iran’s nuclear capabilities were well known.

“The technical knowledge is there, and the industrial capacity is there,” he said.

“That no one can deny, so we need to work together with them.”
