The family of Jennifer Kesse, a Florida woman who vanished nearly 20 years ago, announced that her case is no longer considered cold.

According to her father, Drew, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has identified a small group of individuals they are interested in and have uncovered evidence that remains untested.

“Through their two years of investigation, they have really shortened the persons of interest, and we are being told that it is a very short list at this point,” Drew stated, according to ABC 7. “They also found more evidence that has never been tested.. Huge, who knows where that could lead.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Kesse did not arrive at work on January 24, 2006. Two days later, her black Chevy Malibu was discovered at the Huntington on the Green complex in a high-crime section of Orlando, approximately a mile from her condo.

Surveillance footage shows an unknown person parking Kesse’s vehicle at the condominium complex around noon on January 24. The complex, Mosaic at Millenia, was still under construction when Kesse disappeared.

Construction workers were at the property frequently. They were also allowed to live in vacant units, according to police records.

“I’m driven to find my daughter,” said Kesse. “There’s nothing else in my life, I have to be honest with you, more important, than finding Jennifer,” Drew added.
