What We Voted For: Sean Duffy Takes on 'Woke' Roadways in Timely Reminder to Governors, State DOTs

I have to admit that I have been seriously impressed with Sean Duffy in his role as Transportation Secretary.

Since his confirmation, he has addressed matters such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within the transportation sector, criticized the previous shortcomings of the Department of Transportation under Pete Buttigieg’s contentious leadership, and has initiated “record time resolutions” for specific problems in airports like Newark Liberty International. He emphasizes that prioritizing the recruitment of additional safety personnel and fully trained air traffic controllers is essential.

Duffy has consistently countered inaccurate, media-fueled narratives concerning infrastructure challenges, pointing out that issues he has managed since January, such as the destruction in western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene, did not originate during his tenure. However, he remains dedicated to addressing and rectifying the unresolved problems inherited from the former administration.
