A man from Sheldon was apprehended in Chatsworth by Livingston County officials after deputies discovered over 1,200 doses of acid and nearly 4,000 grams of THC concentrate, among other items, during an ongoing investigation.
As reported by WCIA’s partners, the Ford County Chronicle, the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department Pro-Active unit, along with the Iroquois County Detective Section, concluded a continuing narcotics investigation at around 9:15 a.m. on July 2. David R. Fredericks of Sheldon was arrested on the 300 block of E Locust St. in Chatsworth.
A search warrant was conducted on a residence in Chatsworth and Sheldon. The following items are some of what was recovered during the investigation:
- 1,209 doses of LSD (Acid)
- 298g of Psilocybin Mushrooms
- 3,866g of THC concentrate
- 184g of Cannabis Flower
- Multiple prescription pills
- Over $3,000 seized
Additionally, Fredericks was arrested on the following charges:
- Manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance x3 (Class X)
- Posession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance (Class X)
- Further charges pending investigation
The investigation and arrest were supported by agencies such as Livingston County K9, Iroquois County Patrol, the State’s Attorney’s Offices of Livingston and Iroquois Counties, and VCOM.
