Wolverhampton Wanderers have revealed their new home shirt for the 2025/26 season – and it comes with a unique twist.

The kit produced by SUDU remains faithful to Wolves’ tradition, featuring the classic old gold as its base, complemented by a striking black V-neck collar and sleeve trim. This design pays homage to the club’s historic uniforms.

Upon closer inspection, a unique detail stands out. The front of the shirt showcases a subtle debossed print inspired by the symmetrical design and intricate details of the historic Molineux Pleasure Grounds, which was once celebrated for its decorative terraces, exhibitions, concerts, and even hot air balloon ascensions.

With its almost Aztec-style pattern, the design adds a fresh, modern layer to a timeless Wolves look.

“It’s a modern rendition of a classic Wolves jersey,” noted club historian Peter Crump. “It evokes the traditional style from the 1970s, and it’s almost like a contemporary version of the three wolf head shirt from the 1974 League Cup.”

“The ‘70s is a well revered era at Wolves, so lots of the fans remember it with great fondness. We’ve got a great history, and we should celebrate it, and there’s no reason why the modern day and history can’t be combined,” he added.

The professional edition of the shirt, worn by the Wolves first team and academy, includes strategic mesh side panels for better airflow, along with lightweight, sweat-wicking fabric to boost performance on the pitch.

The 2025/26 home kit is available now via Wolves’ official online store, club shop and selected retailers.
