A young Marine candidate from Oklahoma, who was tragically discovered dead and unclothed by a roadside in 2023, might have been a victim of assault leading to his demise, according to a wrongful death lawsuit.

Nineteen-year-old Noah Presgrove had been at a lengthy Labor Day gathering with friends over the weekend, prior to his body being discovered along U.S. Highway 81 in Terral on September 4, 2023. Near his lifeless form, officials found some of his teeth, a necklace, and basketball shorts.

Initially, officials considered the possibility that Presgrove had been struck by a car following the party. However, the lawsuit filed on June 23, which seeks a minimum of $75,000 in damages, contends that the young man’s death was not the result of an automobile accident.

Fox News Digital reached out to the plaintiff’s attorney for comment.

The lawsuit accuses the defendants of duty of care violations, civil conspiracy, negligence and recklessness in connection with Presgrove’s death.

Presgrove had graduated from high school three months early with plans to enlist in the military alongside his cousin.
