Police in Wisconsin arrested three men Saturday, in connection with the alleged abduction of a young boy.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has reported that authorities found 7-year-old Jamal White at a home on the 2000 block of N. 39th Street. During this operation, they apprehended a 25-year-old man for violating his probation.
Police also detained a 27-year-old individual on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment, while another 27-year-old was arrested for resisting and obstructing law enforcement efforts.
Earlier, as highlighted by CrimeOnline, the young boy was kidnapped from a residence located on 6200 W. Hustis Street last Friday. The incident occurred while he was playing outside, riding his bike, and he was forcibly taken at gunpoint into a white Jeep Renegade SUV, as per the details provided by AMBER Alert Wisconsin.
WISN 12 News reports that a Ring ring camera video showed the vehicle before Jamal’s abduction.
“Jamal has been located and is safe,” Milwaukee police said in a statement Saturday evening. “The Milwaukee Police Department would like to thank everyone for their assistance in this matter.”
TMJ 4 reports that the community erupted in cheers when reunited with Jamal, who was located uninjured.
“He looked at us. We said, ‘You okay cousin?’ He said, ‘Yeah,’” Nikki Harrington, who helped search for Jamal, said.
“We all got to see him. We all got to say, ‘I love you.’ We all were there.”
It’s unclear if additional charges will be added, or if the charges against the suspects are in connection with the abduction.
