Reports indicate that Brazilian police have searched both the residence and political office of former President Jair Bolsonaro. On Friday, authorities confirmed executing “two search and seizure warrants,” without explicitly mentioning whether Bolsonaro was the subject, although local media suggest he was.
According to the Associated Press, Bolsonaro has been instructed to wear an ankle bracelet. He is also reportedly restricted from using social media and communicating with others under investigation, as per local media cited by the Associated Press. This restriction extends to his son Eduardo Bolsonaro, a Brazilian politician based in the United States, known for connections to President Donald Trump.

“I have seen the terrible treatment you are receiving at the hands of an unjust system turned against you. This should end immediately!” Trump wrote in a letter he sent to Bolsonaro, which the president posted on his Truth Social account Thursday evening.
