Columbia University Bends the Knee, Agrees to Stunning Settlement With Trump Administration

Money talks, and Columbia University finally admitted that on Wednesday, after a stunning settlement with the Trump administration was announced.

According to Redstate, an Ivy League institution has been a center of pro-Hamas activities, including acts of antisemitic harassment and violence. In the spring of 2024, coinciding with the rise of the presidential campaign, supporters of terrorism took over Hamilton Hall, barricading themselves inside while claiming they had “liberated” it. For months, radicals brandishing “Palestinian” flags occupied the main grounds, obstructing Jewish people from passing through.

Throughout this period, Columbia University’s administrators prioritized appeasement over maintaining order. It wasn’t until Mayor Eric Adams authorized the NYPD to intervene that order was restored at Hamilton Hall. However, due to New York’s progressive prosecutors, very few faced any repercussions. During this tension-filled time, Mahmoud Khalil, a Syrian national currently facing deportation by the Trump administration for his pro-terrorism associations, emerged as a recognized figure.

While Joe Biden took no measures, effectively contributing to the antisemitic, pro-terror unrest, the subsequent president had a different approach. The Trump administration quickly initiated an investigation, leading to significant consequences—the revocation of hundreds of millions of dollars in prospective grant funding from Columbia.
